We offer preschool, kindergarten, ESL, enrichment and after school programs for children from ages 1.5 through 6th grade. Our school is conveniently located in Motomachi Yokohama, to cater to early educational and child care needs of both the foreign and Japanese families.

HIH students benefit from our established relationship with Horizon Japan International School. Our graduating kindergarteners are entitled to admission privileges when entering primary school at HJIS.

The JET series developed by U.S.-based organization, Institute for Measurement in Education and Training (IMET), comprises English language proficiency tests for children aged six to 14 years who speak English as a second or foreign language. JET is now available at HIH for members and non-members as a standardized English level assessment test. The test comes in five progressive levels and is designed to be test friendly for young learners of different age groups.

In Partnership with Boon Ryugaku, students can now enjoy a ‘Study Abroad Program’ to Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mid-Pacific is a private, independent coeducational college preparatory school serving preschool through 12th grade students with quality education.

We offer prospective families an opportunity to visit the school individually to learn more about our programs, philosophy and facility. Please contact the school to make reservations for a trial.

At HIH, we offer a wide range of affordable services from extended care by monthly contract, back up care for school holidays, to after school care for school age children. We are a new and better choice for childhood education that fit within the full-day / year round scheduling needs of working families. Our programs are built to combine excellent educational programming with nurturing child care services.

We have parking space available by the school front entrance for a convenient drop off and pick up.
